| The Compliance Team are obliged to send Annual Accounts information to both the 2025 and 2026 Chairperson and Treasurer. Outgoing officers are still responsible for the period they served. | |
| Dear Colleagues, February is compliance month.
In previous years, the February Compliance Challenge was a programme of daily training emails. We appreciate the amount of time and work you put into your roles as party officers and are aware that you receive a lot of emails from HQ.
Whilst the content remains bitesized, we’ve changed it to weekly briefings instead, which we hope will help. In the coming weeks, we will cover donation reporting, digital campaigning, data protection, the law and governance. | |
2025 Annual Accounts | | Week 1 of the February Compliance Challenge is aimed at Chairs and Treasurers, since it concerns your year-end report, which is due on 15 March.
There is a later deadline for accounting units with an income or expenditure over £250,000. If you are lucky enough to fall into this category, please email compliance@libdems.org.uk as soon as possible.

Treasurer Training Day |  On Sat 28th Feb (10.00am - 4.30pm), we’re hosting our annual day of webinars.
The full agenda and timings are to be confirmed, but will include a run-through on annual accounts, as well as a Q&A session.
